We humbly believe that the Lord has been preparing Regents to host a residency program like this. With over 1000 students, it is one of the largest classical Christian schools in the United States. With over 30 years of hard-won experience, Regents is also one of the longest-tenured and most distinguished schools in today’s classical Christian movement.

But as you will find, the real source of Regents’ distinction is her people. On our 82 acres, God has graciously assembled some of the most gifted educational practitioners to serve our students, our community, and now you, our residents.

Here is what that means for our residents:

Our teachers want to invest in you. Our team hopes to leave a legacy beyond their students and classrooms, into you, your future students, and your classrooms. At Regents, training the next generation of educational leaders is a calling and a passion—one we think you will experience firsthand from the moment you step on our campus.

  • Paige Ueltschey

Paige was blessed to be brought up in a Christian home and to continue in the faith of her family while marrying and raising four children. She grew up in Plano, TX and got her Bachelors’ in English Literature at Texas A&M University. As the daughter of a middle school teacher, she witnessed the long hours, discipline issues and parent calls necessary for the job and was convinced that teaching was not for her. But again and again the Lord sent teaching jobs--after an undergraduate degree, in graduate school and after having children. In 2000, she moved to Austin to teach 5th grade at a small classical school renting space in Tarrytown, Regents School of Austin. In 2002, she became a TA while acquiring a Master’s in Literature at UT. In 2010 she returned to teaching first grade in a classical Christian school in Portland. And from there she moved into teaching SOR Literature, History and Spanish for 7 years. Somewhere along the way, the Lord convinced her that teaching is a fantastic job full of adventure and blessing. Paige has taught at every level, and high school literature is her all time favorite teaching job, a chance to discuss great books with insightful and curious young adults. Portland is a lovely place, full of mountains, beaches and forests, but eventually their family needed to return to care for their extended family in Austin and Mississippi. Paige is eager to enjoy some warmer and sunnier winters as well. The family is pleased to be back in Austin and continuing their engagement in classical Christian education. Some of her favorite books are Paradise Lost, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Gilead and Killer Angels, and she’s always eager for new book recommendations.

Throughout the years teaching at Regents, Madison Claer has seen the amazing impact Christian Classical education has made in each student in her classroom. Madison Claer loves teaching God's word and pouring into kids hearts the truths and beauty of our Lord and Savior. This school has been a wonderful gift for Madison Claer providing friends, family, and students who have become apart of her life forever.
